Riddle! There are ten stacks of ten gold coins on a table…?
You are told the weight of the coins and guaranteed that nine of the stacks contain real gold coins. The tenth stack has all counterfeit coins that weigh exactly one gram more than a real coin. YOu are given a scale which weighs in grams and are told if you can determine which stack is counterfeit the nine stacks are yours. Unfortunately, you can only use the scale once! Describe how you would determine the counterfeit stack of coins.
i would weigh on the scale 5 stacks on each side and the side that was lower (which means it is heavier) of those stacks i would weigh each stack in my hands and the one i felt was heaviest i would say it was the one with fake coins
