are my coins worth any thing?
i have 4 dimes from 1923
a gold quarter
a holographic quarter
a gold nickel
and some Iraq money is any of this worth anything or not
If they are US coins, they’re all worth more than their face value. Especially interesting is the “gold quarter” and the “gold nickel”. I think these two gold items are either:
A quarter and a nickel plated gold privately – these will be worth something more than their face value. OR A 25 Dollar and 5 Dollar Gold piece. I’m not sure we produced 25 Dollar pieces but maybe we did. Either way, they are probably worth plenty, plenty more than face value. Check out the internet. It has plenty of coin collection sites. Or check it out at a coin dealer. Or get a hold of a US coin catalogue (library). If the US minted it, it would be listed.
