Some gold coins have a fineness of .999 and .9999 is that the same? is that the same karat?
Fineness is measured in four digits….Not sure what your .999 is but .9999 is basically the same as 99.99% which is very pure gold. Anything above 99.90% or .9990 or 99.90 is considered 24karat gold.
