How much is my 1991 gold panda coin in bezel worth?
I had inherited a 1991 1/20 oz. gold panda coin from my mother. Her sister gave it to her in Taiwan a while back. It has a really beautiful 14k gold bezel around it embellished with red and green gems. Its made to be worn like a necklace. It also has a mint stamp in the back and a 585 stamp on the bezel.I think a coin collector would be interested in this but I would like to know how much it is worth before I make offers.
A coin collector most likely would not want it for the bezel damages the coin. Your item has no collector value and is worth the gold in it. A coin dealer or jeweler will weigh it and make an off that depends on what the spot prices of gold is at the time of sale. They will also take in account what jewels are in the bezel. No one can give you a value here only guess and be wrong. Try more than one dealer and take the best offer.
