Will Red Spots Hurt My Bullion’s Value?
I have a 10 gram 24K 999.9% pure piece of Emirates gold bullion that I am looking to sell, and I just noticed it has a few dark spots on it, one on the edge, and several smaller spots on the other side?
So how much will it hurt it’s value?
Assuming it is real gold, that sort of thing generally sells for no more than the bullion value, anyway.
My question: Pure gold does not tarnish. What is causing these spots, if not impurities?
